Immigration Commissioner Marcelino Libmanan last week was surprised to learn 91 Chinese were working illegally at the Fontana Leisure and Development Corporation at the Clark development zone. Illegal aliens often work underground but not in a high-profile place like Fontana. Sixty-three of the aliens had no work permits, he said, and 28 had permits but with dubious job descriptions.
2nd generation opens salon at Emmaus corner store site

The storefront formerly known as Gabby's Market reopened three weeks ago, after substantial renovation, as a beauty salon called She. Genovese's daughter Wanda O'Brien runs the place with help from her daughter, Tara. .
